Hi all,

Just joined the forum, I bought the new fiesta zetec s at the end of Feb, joined for help and advice with things if ever needed.

Had a few friends telling me to get a remap but cant seem to find anything yet.

But yeah my first Ford as I hit 20, treated myself ;)

    Welcome to the family Anthony! a remap is a good way to improve the car, but bear in mind your age, the new car, the insurers may want to eat you for breakfast!

    Ah yeah, do you have to declare remaps? Im not too sure on anything really so it'd help, and its only £1000 fully comp which shocked me.

    I previously had a corsa 1.2 53 reg, when I first passed it was £3500 third party.

    Stupid me payed it.

    any modification to the engine, be it a tuning box (even efficiency ones that REDUCE your power) uprated air filters, anything!

    If you do something to your car that changes it from how it was in the factory, its a modification. Some are non declarable (like my Window blinds - they know but dont need it on file) others like my LED footwell lighting was a declarable "sport lighting" modification.

    So if a strip of LED's is declarable, you should treat anything else as a modification.

    You had no option but to pay it :p couldnt front it out, and couldnt get it cheaper :p
