Turbo Lag On 1.8 S Max

Hia all at the Ford owners club

My name is Sam & I own a 1.8 S Max, which I have tried chipping to get better fuel economy & to help with the dreadful turbo lag.

I have gained better fuel economy by approx 5 mpg but the turbo lag still remains.

For the tuning boys/ engineers out there how effective is it to have the car remapped aided with the use of a rolling road?

Any help or information on this matter would be greatly appreciated
