I've got a 54 plate 3 door and I can no longer fold the drivers seat forward to let people get in the back (passenger side is fine) the handle lifts up fine but it doens't 'click' and the seat wont fold forward (seems to want to more on the right side than the left)

I've got to reaplace the plastic strip down the side of the passenger window as it is (and the exhaust!) so I'm hoping this isn't going to be another expensive fix - or is it something I can get my husband to do for me.

I wouldn't be bothered but I'm pregnant and I want to be able to get into both sides of the back seat

In regards to the seat issue it sounds like the cable which tilts the seat has either become disconnected or snapped so you'll need to find out and then take it from there :)

Yeah it is - mum lost the same part from hers and she ended up having the whole lot round the window repliaced cost £60

I lost one a while back and just wemt a got the nrw one and clipped it straight on no problem. You'll be able to do it yourself impress the hubby haha
