Hello there,

this key's been in my owners booklet since i bought the car, and i have no idea what its for? as you can see my main key is a different type to the little weird one.

    Thst's an emergency tibbe style key from another Ford.

    Definitely not for your car at all.

    As stoney says it's just an emergency door key, have you tried unlocking the door with it, as it might be for your car.

    Fords used to supply these years ago, just in case you locked the keys in the boot

    Totally different lock styles.

    The emergency key is a tibbe and the full one is a laser key.

    Ford stopped using tibbe locks because they're very easy to pick with a tool thats readily available online.

    its a classic dealer trick stick these things on the keyring so it looks like it has more keys than it should so the buyer doesnt try and knock you down the money to pay for said key very few people notice actually there just excited to get in the car and get going as said old mk1 mk1.5 key that one
