Sprint Booster Any Good?

Featured Replies

OK guys I have been looking at these and wonder if anyone has any experience of them?

Are they any good do they really make the difference they claim, what about fuel consumption, any draw backs.

Any comments good or bad most welcome.

I considered getting one -

But all it does is make the engine >seem< more responsive because it increases the throttle opening the ECU "sees"

so when you open the throttle a 1/4 - the ECU "thinks" youve opened it a 1/2 - so giving the illusion of more power

So all you need to do is push the throttle harder/ further to get the same effect

It might help sharpen your throttle response if you have an unusually long/ sloppy throttle travel - otherwise probably not worth the money

The DTE "pedal box" system -
