Fiesta Zetec S 2013 Wing Mirror

Featured Replies

How do you remove the side indicator bulbs ? So they can be changed for chrome (de-tango) ones.

Do the plastic wing mirror covers just clip off ? Pictures would be greatly appreciated if anybody has any

if you angle you mirrors down there are two tabs at the top of the mirror cap just depress them and slide the cap off, think the indicators pull out rather easily then.

Okay il give it a go, hopefully comes off easy enough, cheers for the info.

Just done mine-

I practised taking the covers off on my wife's fiesta first before risking mine.

But as above push the bottom of the mirror right back (as though your looking at the ground), then use a longish flat bladed screwdriver to push the 'clips' down. They need a bit of force as they don't slide off nice & gently, but come off with a scary crack. Bulb then pulls out nice & simple. Just make sure the covers clipped on all round when refitting.

Hahaa don't blame you, im dreading damaging mine and okay no worries doesn't sound too bad then. Il give it a go. Is there just the two clips at the top ? Or a few more ?

There's 4 in all, but when I pressed down on the first clip behind the mirror it practically popped off with a loud crack.....

Okay thanks matey, hopefully all goes okay.

My approach is to drive into a metal post at 10mph generally takes both the cover and the indicator off lovely!

Not sure this is easier than removing using my method, yours certainly seems to require a 'special' technique :D

why dont you follow whats said in the manual? lol hhaha actually i think im th only one who has.

squeuze in both extremeties and it unclips by itself

My 'manual' only shows pushing in at one end, then pushing it up. Tried that first, couldn't get the cover off so tried the other way & it worked.
