Hi - just bought a 2005 1.6 5 door Focus & trying to find out how to tell whicht MK/model I have.

Can any one please help?

Could be the last of the 1.5 or the first of the 2.

What shape is it ?

MK1:

MK2:

Its one or the other, wont be any other type, so no point going into MK2.5 or 3

Are the fuel and temperature dials on the outside of the speedo and rev counter, if so you have a Mk1.5

If the temperature dials are above and between the speedo and rev counter, you have a Mk2

cant get any clearer on jees and slarts comment.

lol, if it looks like the first picture I posted, its MK1, if it looks like the second, its MK2.

Either way, its easy to tell
