Fiesta Lights

Featured Replies

I noticed recently that my offside rear light was not working on my R registered Fiesta. Assuming a dud bulb, I replaced it, and

when that did not solve the problem, I replaced the fuse - again with no result.

I then noticed that whilst my offside front side light, and dipped beam worked, my main beam did not and neither did my offside front driving light. Checking the revelvant fuses showed they were sound. The main beam relay covers both offside and nearside, and since the nearside is working fine, I am advised by my local Ford dealer that the relay can't be faulty.

So I assume that there is a short somewhere in the offside wiring, but would welcome any other suggestions as to what's causing the problem.

Many thanks

I'd check the 'main beam' filament/bulb & the bulb in the 'driving light' (what ever that is), I'd also check for an earth fault on the rear light.

As above more than likely an earth fault
