Central Locking Off Key Fob

Featured Replies

please can someone help me i have a 1999 1.8 3 door focus lx with a problem ie i cannot lock my car with the fob but i can unlock 1 door ie drivers please can anyone help me if so please contact me back via here or [email protected] i can use key in lock to lock and unlock

It could be a dry joint or knackered lock button on the remote,

As for only being able to unlock one door, your car may be set to dual stage unlocking, which means that you have to press the unlock button twice in quick succession, the first press unlocks the drivers door, and the second unlocks the rest

If you want to resolve the dual lock as Neil advised, you sit in the car and press and hold the lock and unlock keys on the remote for about 5 seconds, that should disable the anti hijack feature :)

His unlock button isn't working at the moment James, so he'll not be able to do it until it's fixed/replaced

Always handy to read the post twice!

Cheers Neil :)
