Wobbly Wing Mirror - How To Tighten?

Featured Replies

My wing mirror slightly wobbles past 50+ mph. It's slightly annoying as it distorts the view...

The left side is fine, is there anything i can do to tighten it up or stop it wobbling?

Thanks,

if its a loose bolt, its a case of removing the plastics from the interior of the car (next to the window and immediately next to the wing mirror).

Once you remove this, theres a hex bolt behind it that you can just tighten (if this is indeed the problem)

Sorry, I wrote this so it's slightly misleading.. basically it's the actual mirror/glass piece that vibrates causing distorted view

that would be more tricky, as you would need to remove the rear cover and access the screw's / bolt's and tighten them all,but its not an easy fete, as there is not a great deal of space in there...
