Just thought I would warn all 7.5 Titi owner of a problem that has arisen. The LED strip in the headlight unit works only intermittently. Took it to my supplier who agreed that it was a warranty issue and the whole headlight unit is to be replaced ( can't believe that the led cannot be replaced alone) the headlight is on back order I asked if there was any idea when it would arrive - 'how long is a piece of string was the answer' - Christmas perhaps?

Another worrying feature for when the car is out of warranty or the unit is broken - replacement cost on today's figures £250 + vat.

Thank God I have a MK7 without DRL's. Not really a fan of them personally but if fitted they should work.

Wonder what would happen if you had an accident and they needed new units can't see an insurance company letting you keep a hire car for months on end.

Just what I thought. I understood when a 'new' car is introduced 20% of production went to spares. May be there has been a run on failed LED's!

I spotted one the other day that only had one DRL working, hope they resolve it soon!

i have them on my Zetec S and they work great =). dont have any problems with them, mind you i only have it for 2 months now. Will see how it goes =).
