Just curious and wondered if our Fiesta's are exempt.

Our little cars chuck out 99g/km.

I've read that the fiesta is exempt but the TFL site say 75g/km or less of CO2 to qualify.

    Well it's definitely tax exempt for now, perhaps the '14 plate ecoboost's will have to pay tax, under the new rules if alex is right. Unless ours are free for the first year and £30 after?

    So a change in the rules recently by lowering the co2 limit means the fiesta doesn't qualify to be exempt from the congestion charge. I'll stay with the train then seeing as that's still free for me ;)

    On the tax side of things we'll be OK for free road tax for a few years yet :)

    The 2013 Fiesta ecoboost 1 litre is Congestion charge free only if you apply for it, and then it's only till 2016 I think.

    And as to the free road tax - that's only now. With so many cars getting in under the wire, the rules will surely change soon to that free only applies to the under 75 gms vehicles (i.e. bicycles). Sigh - it were ever thus.
