gilliank81 Posted September 7, 2013 Share Posted September 7, 2013 Hi people, Hoping someone may be able to shed some light on my problem. I have a 51 plate Ford Focus Black, it does have high mileage at around 124000 miles, but the last few weeks I've noticed that when I accelerate or go uphill there is a weird chirping noise(it's the only way I can describe it) at first I thought it might be the exhaust, there was a split on the heat shield on the manifold but I've had a new manifold fitted and its still making the noise, I don't lose any power. The engine management light has come on as well so I know something is wrong, I'm just hoping it's not the dual mass flywheel :( Gill Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
