Getting Scratches Out Of Windows

Featured Replies

Hi there, noticed the other day that I had a few scratches on my drivers side window, there not deep just light surface scratches. Was just wondering if anyone had any advice as to how to get rid of them.

Thanks for your help!

Its very hard to get scratches out of glass but you can get a powder called glaziers rouge, you mix with water to a past and you would need a very firm foam pad on a polisher, if very fine will come out but its hard work, if you can feel them with your nails at all, its pointless. if you cant find any rouge try your local glazier or window manufacturer company for some.

My mrs scratched the windscreen with her diamomd ring

I bought a 3M cerium oxide kit of Ebay,it came with pads and a backing plate to use in a drill cost around £20

It sort of worked but maybe after 3 hours i got bored
