Keyless Entry

Featured Replies

Got a 2008 ford focus titanium... how do I know if I have it or not ? I have read through the manual but it's not really that clear on what to do..... Might be straight forward ?

hey,

usually if you have keyless entry you would also have push start. so, on the handles you would have little black buttons and a button in your car to start the car.

correct me if i'm wrong guys :)

Do you have this?

Luke

Keyless entry and Keyless start are two different options. There are Focus MK2.5 versions which do have Keyless start but do not have Keyles entry.

Keyless entry can be recognised by the black sensors on the outside front door handles and trunk handle.

A visual check is as suggested above the black switch on the front doors and rear hatch. An operational check is to double click your lock on your keys. With the car locked and the keys in your possession open the car door. You should hear the locks open as you pull the door handle.

I had this option on my 2009 Focus Titanium but unfortunately not on my 2012 Focus Titanium X ! !

Regards

David
