Ford Focus 1.6 Zetec Se Auto Cambelt Snapped. What To Do???

Featured Replies

I posted this in the new members area but thought it would be best to post here... Hope it's ok to do that?

My 2003 auto focus 1.6 zetec se cambelt snapped whilst driving. I'm now stuck as to what to do with it. I need to know how much it will be worth as it is to someone and then to decide whether it is worth breaking it and selling parts. It's a great car or was a great car. 83k on the clock, smooth as ice, alloys, tow bar.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

you need to have the engine checked to determine the damage and see if the valves are bent how many etc the fact it snapped whilst driving ide say theres definately bent valves
