Have I Lost Part Of My Undertray? (Fiesta St2 13 Plate)

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I went up a rather steep slope coming out of a carpark today, and the
bottom of the car did clip the slope which didn't sound great first off,
second driving home the car kept making a clicking noise like bodywork
catching on the left side.

I looked underneath when I got home, and I'm wondering if I lost part of the undertray which is causing the clicking noise?

A couple of pic links below, so let me know what you think.

Looks like your entire undertray is gone. no engine parts should be visible with the undertray on for sure not the oil sump, i don't know about the front/forward part through... it looks clean so i am guessing there was another undertray there. the focus also has two undertray the larger one cover the engine and a smaller one up front covering the forward part of the engine, intercooler etc. so it seems like your missing both

Ah balls. Can anyone post a pic of the underside of their fiesta st?

mine looks exactly the same as yours

Yeah I took mine down to ford today, and they said its fine. I did take off an air diffuser at the front, but that was only £26 to replace.

All good :)

Pleased to hear it, bet you will be a bit nervous next time your in that car park

Definitely going to try and avoid it next time. It could get expensive quite quickly!

Thanks for confirming yours is the same as well!
