Headlights Adjustment Problem After Bump

Featured Replies

Hi fellas,

After a small skid and bump in to the back of another car. I noticed driving home that evening that my headlight were shining on the lowest setting. I used the adjust wheel in side the cab to move them on to a higher setting but nothing happened. The lights were not broken in the bump and both the side and headlights have not blown.

Has anybody had this happen to them and if so what is the problem/fix?

Thank you

choice of

headlight adjuster has packed up...are both lights pointing low or just the one.

when you adjust the setting, have someone listen for the motors in the lights are actually working.

or

the adjuster in headlights are either broken or popped off the reflector inside headlight

take the bulb cover off and see if you can reach inside and move reflector easily by hand..if not then adjuster/motor is still attatched, if it swings about easily, either snapped or popped off
