Knocking Noise From Right Hand Wheel When Pulling Away

Sorry for typo in subject!!!!

I hope that you can help??

I seem to have a strange knocking noise coming from the from right wheel everytime I pull away.

The only time it doesn't happen is if I give a little extra gas.

I have been advised that it could be the CV joint but wanted to ask and see if anyone else has had this problem.
