Mk4 Fiesta Help

1. Idling around 1200-1400rpm when slowing down, maintains these revs for around 4/5 seconds then down to 900(ish)rpm where it should be..
2. Warning light - Door open - Is on, even when all doors (and boot) is closed.. Heard its a common issue, but not read how to fix it
3. What tools are needed to replace brake pads and discs? As I don't want to get half way and find out I don't have tools required

Anything relatively cheap I could do to improve how it looks?
I have aero wipers added today (cheap and cheerful, but better than original), I have xenon bulbs coming for dipped beams (prefer white light, to dull yellow), should I get LED sidelights to make it suit better? (I think I will either way haha)

Can't really dewiper the rear, as the wiper arm comes out of the boot itself, not the window

Cheers
