Can You Change How Fuel Consumption Is Shown ?

I'm the happy owner of a new Fiesta mk 7.5, however I have one problem: It shows fuel consumption as gallons per 100 miles.

Is there any way to change this into mpg ?

A friend of mine has a VW Up, and he had the dealer change it, because it couldn't be done through the normal menu. I'm wondering if this might be a possibility on the Fiesta ? (I've been through the menu already with no luck)

    Are you sure it's not litres per 100km? Thought that's how the rest of Europe measured it.

    I believe it would need reprogramming by a dealer but most will not know how or refuse to try it.

    iNath yeah it's actually litres per 100km, I just assumed UK used miles & gallons (lack of knowledge on my part) so figured it'd be easier for you guys to relate to.

    My bad entirely :-D

    As for reprogramming, yes that does sound like something they'd be unwilling to do, unfortunately :-(
