2013 Fiesta Bedding In/gearbox

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone, Newb here - I picked up my new Fiesta Ecoboost Zetec last week which I'm absolutely loving, just have a bit of a question about 3rd gear which feels odd when changing - not sure if this is usual, or if i'm worrying needlessly.

Basically changing into third does not feel as smooth as the other gears, it doesn't feel crunchy, just not as serene an action as selecting the other gears, feels like its catching on something when selecting if that makes sense.

I'm debating whether to whop it into my local dealership in the morning or just to play it by ear, its only covered 500 miles so far

Any suggestions or experiences would be appreciated.

Could be the cables need adjusting, take it to the supplying dealer and ask them to check it.
