Hi.....I have. 1.4 zetec fiesta. It's an 03 plate and newer shape which I believe makes it a mk6.

It has the factory fitted stereo and sometimes when I switch this on or off it rattles for about 10 seconds. It happens when I switch ignition on or off if I leave stereo on. If I switch stereo off then it doesn't happen with ignition but can happen when I turn the stereo on with engine on.

Stereo appears to work fine, get great sound quality from it.

Any ideas?
