I'm the lucky owner of a Fiesta Metal (lovely car btw) and want to know what products I should use to clean my shiny black plastic trim e.g. centre console, DAB stereo and door pulls. I tried Armourall orange wipes but they left a dull looking residue. After something that will clean and restore the natural shine.

I just use a dry microfibre coth ( clean ) to polish it I dont use any products at all , bui I guess if its relly dirty a dedicated interior cleaner would be ok

I'm thinking microfiber cloth with a bit of hot water and fairy liquid as I need to clean off the residue that's on there.

Has anyone used those Armourall dashboard wipes (gloss) on these types of surfaces?

i use furniture polish and a microfibre cloth.

Works great, no smears - smells nice - keeps the girlfriend happy - job done. :)

Wouldn't use washing up liquid a vey damp microfiber cloth followed by a polish with a dry one should do it. I've found that autoglym interior shampoo cleans well but any decent interior cleaner should work , haven't used wipes so dont know how effective they are

A bit of diluted APC on a microfiber should remove any previous residue.

I just use glass cleaner on mine & it comes up clean & shiny with no residue. I'm using AG Fast Glass, but I'm sure any glass cleaner would do.
