Fiesta Mk7 Vibration

Featured Replies

Hi I've got a 1.4td 2010 fiesta and I've got a vibration coming through the car, I thought it was wheel ballance so got it checked but still the same, I feel it from 50mph on wards and is worse when I put the foot down, engine not miss firing, wondering if its a shaft or cv joint

Since read that the centre drive shaft bearing is bad for failing and someone else also re greased there cv joints, has anyone else came across this?

Which wheel rims does your car have? It could be a buckled rim.

Wheels all good and ballanced

Have you had the bushes and track rod ends checked for excessive play?

Bushes, track rod ends, and ball joints all good.

Either down to tracking/ balancing or worst case scenario you could have a slightly buckled wheel. Probably worth checking your tyre pressures etc as well- always good to keep them what they should be anyway as lower pressure reduces handling and increases fuel consumption.
