Door Chime Issue's

Featured Replies

Has anyone else had problems with the warning alarm / detection that the drivers door is open? Mine works sometimes and i'm finally about to book it in to Ford to have them fix it.

I've been leaving it for awhile now because i was afraid i'd drop off the car, and they would have it when it decides to work again. I'm only now doing this because i had my lights off auto mode to dipped while in fog the other day. When i parked up, no alarm warnins or chimes lit up to say lights are still on and no "Door Open" message appeared on either the speedo display or radio dash.

I assume the drivers door sensor is trashed as all the other doors work fine.

Like you say, it sounds as if it must be a sensor if neither warning is working.
