Were Is Cabin Filter ?

Featured Replies

Hi guys, in the process of tryin to eliminate a VERY annoying rattle,,, tried various things to no avail. So today I thought I would take off the wipers and scuttle panel and look in there. On removing these I find a plastic cover rattling around and a square hole in the bulkhead were it is meant to fasten into. The cover is perforated and kind of triangular in shape, but the clips on it seem to close together for it to fit snuggly in the hole, so was wondering if there should be a filter in here before I resort to a more permanent fixing technique lol ? Car is currently in bits on the driveway no headlights wipers, and top and bottom scuttle panels,, someone please advise. Cheers in advance, Mike.

Found were the cabin filter goes, so I'm not sure what this bit is or why it won't fit propperly ? Far to loose to just sit there, I'm thinking it is an air intake for the heaters, so can't really just leave it off.
