Door Open But Not

Featured Replies

It's saying my door is open when I brake but it's not iv checked them all

check the door switch/s.

Sounds like the door lock assembly needs replacing. It can either report open or closed becauseo of the circuit.

We're are they located mate ?

had this happen to my focus, it was the bonnet lock, pulled off the the two pin wiring plug and put a paper clip in it, it stoped the light from coming on, i am just waiting for a new bonnet lock, but for now it fine as it is.. B)

Il have a go

Dont do that just yet. The car says the doors open right? which door does it say is open? the trip computer window should say passenger, or rear passenger, driver or rear driver or boot / bonnet?

Does it say any of these?

It's not got a trip computer just a red light flashing on the dash

in that case it could be any door, or it could be bonnet or boot... you could waste a lot of time on it just replacing one or the other., Best bet here is to get an auto electrician on the case and track down the door.
