I have these fitted:

Got them from a chap on ebay selling a set for the Mk3 Focus. Messaged him on the off chance that he'd have some M2/2.5 ones in stock - he did!! About £30 for the set. They're !Removed! good quality!! I wasn't expected the steel to be as thick or rigid as it was.

The ones you have don't offer any real protection as it tends to be the edge where the sill goes downwards that gets scuffed

I've got lockwoods, got mine from here a few weeks ago (cheapest i could find them delivered for front and back)

They are very nice and cover the whole sill and bend over the lip by 2 cm or so. Hand a set of lockwwoods on my old corsa and they were still on when I sold it and looked as good as new 6 years on.

Here's a couple of pics:

They look good just what I,m after as like you say they protect the curve where you shoe catches getting. In an out

+ 1 for the Lockwood's. They seem a great bit of kit and really easy to fit.

They also hide any scratches that may be already there.

Yes when you fit these make sure there are no scratches down to the metal. If there are sort those out first before fitting or the rust will come through where you can't see it

mine are also from Germany,Dortmund.

whats quality like?

aaah, well in that case, they seem very good! for what they are, they seem thick enough to be sturdy and thin enough to look good! The carbon texture of them is excellent!

I havent yet fitted mine due to poor weather and a lack of time!
