Gotta love lithium or lipo batterys

At sea, we're not all that worried about stuff that can be packsged (and if needs be lobbed over the side).

Not one of the container ships actually adheres to the rules on where to place dangerous goods in relation to each other. They physically can't do it.

We used to buy in loads of Lithium batteries (like the cells in laptop batteries), only had one from hundreds which caught on fire, "went up like a roman candle" as the boss says, lol.

Funniest thing, they were branded TrustFire.

I've heard a few comments like that about TrustFire...apparently they're often badly salvaged batteries from other equipment

Reminds me of a story,

Old work mate had bought a new fridge,

The old one was still good so he left it outside the apartment block with sign "free to good home"

Was there for two weeks and nobody touched it,

So he changed the sign to "€50 and mobile number "

It disappeared within 12 hours lol technically stolen instead.

Nah, sent them packing a while ago...Trying to leave behind the Vauxhall and build up to a Ford... ;)

Vauxhalls have a habit of losing control and crashing... can't mix em with Fords... it wouldn't go down well.. (ask James)

Wasn't a fan of either tbh.. I was never really into writing. For instance you know questions where it says something like "why did __ do ___" my answers would be technically right, but they'd be 1 sentence when apparently it needed to be 2 paragraphs etc (sheesh!).. I was more into maths and that sort of stuff...

Although I do recall not minding lit sometimes when we used to get to read, or the teacher would read and we'd follow in our books... 'Day dream land here I come'
