Hi

I have recently been trying to sort out my potential misfire on my engine on my focus

I have changed the plugs, leads and coil pack and given the car an oil change and filter plus changed the air filter. All this with proper ford parts.

But i still get an engine surge when going up an hill in 2nd or 3rd gear and going around roundabouts.

My thoughts are now turning to the fuel filter and the possibility of changing it.

Could this be the solution or could it be anything else.
