About to take the plunge, basically I'm ordering this, I've got a friend that can spray it:

Can anyone recommend a tail pipe that would fit straight on? I'm after a nice looking one exact or similar to the ST, I've seen people saying you need to trim it back etc, but just going to give it to a garage to do.

Edit: Do I need to order anything else? Just diffuser and tail pipe?

Under the impression the Zetec S already has the sports flaps, they look the exact same if anyone can confirm.

You'll need the corner pieces too.

Yes but you need different ones, they don't fit.

Not sure tbh, the person I know of that did it had a MK7 not MK7.5.

ahhh okay no worries, E5GDM did it with a facelift ? but never mentioned new corner pieces in the guide

I thought they were but need confirmation, if I need the sport flaps (£100+) I don't think ill bother, £140 seems like a steal for the st diffuser on its own.

Just buy them from ford mate, its about 100 quid for both parts of the diffuser of which the lower part comes primed.

Did mine yesterday.

Here's the tail pipe I used-

All I did was cut a bit of the original exhaust pipe outlet off-

Then my tailpipe trim bolted straight on-

Leaving the end result looking like this-

I didn't have to get any extra 'corner pieces' either.
