Picked her up last Friday :D so happy!

New to modding so just thought I ask for opinions etc and see what you guys think for what I have planned!

Exterior:

Black gloss wheels

ST spoiler (possibly black?)

Wing mirrors in black ??

Blue "S" badges on side front and back

Blue break callipers

Not much else to do in all fairness.

Carbon fibre wrap the centre console etc to cover up previous owners scratches...

Mechanical stuff will come in time, maybe a remap and new exhaust to mask the sound of the Diesel engine lol.

Nice - welcome - I wanted a 3dr S but Mrs wanted 5 doors (which to be fair is more practical) and they look quality in white. Curious tho as the lower grill doesn't seem to be the S grille. I saw a few like that though when I was looking. Also the ST spoiler and the S spoiler are the same I think. Where abouts are you in the west midlands?

Well I suspect the last owner may have changed a few things and I don't think it's the ST spoiler on this particular one as the ones I've seen on ebay have two cut outs in :S not sure lol.

I really want something unique to be fair so glad to hear our comments aha!

ST and Zetec S are the same Spoiler :-) same spoiler from the MK2 ST for the ST and ZETEC S mk2.5 infact

That's why they are one of the most common parts of either body kit to get on somewhere such as eBay :-)

Smethwick dude so not too far. Yeah black on white is a nice combo, can't go wrong with that. Post a photo of the spoiler and we can give our opinion mate.

I have just purchased mine now trying to find the brake light and wiring kit for it !! Nightmare !

:/ looks like I need to visit the dealer I bought the car from... I can't send a pic right now but its just basic matt black with a break light. Nothing like that one.... Thats the one I want...

Its nothing too major for them to replace seeing as there on ebay for fairly cheap.

Forgot to mention.... I'm going to paint all of the black trim (grille etc) gloss black...

there is a really strange difference in spec regarding the focus zetec s's in my opinion. If you look on the part of the log book they gave you when you bought it will confirm if a zetec s or not Mine says FOCUS ZETEC S 115

However ALOT of us are going to all meet at the ford fair next year I believe this years one has just gone and for all of us that didn't go are gutted ... We want to try and get a lot of the forum there and have our own stand...so keep a look out for that next year..

Ordered a few things today people:

Deflectors for the windows

New stereo

Reversing camera

Black ford dust caps

Ford magnetic tax disk holder

A friend of mine has carbon wrap and blue calliper paint so hopefully this weekend should end up in some picture uploads for you all :)

One note though, ordering from abroad takes the biscuit! Over a week for delivery :@

I'm hopefully getting this stereo soon, from UK too... Although part of me says not to bother as I have the high end Sony system which is nice but no usb, but it looks so damn cool. Would be interested to hear your experience with the radio reception as I have read a lot of these units have an issue with that.

I was up your end today to go to the showcase cinema, got there and it had sold out! Then some prat of a HGV driver nearly wiped me.out with a dodgy manoeuvre lol

I'm hopefully getting this stereo soon, from UK too... Although part of me says not to bother as I have the high end Sony system which is nice but no usb, but it looks so damn cool. Yeah all the android ones seem to be running android 2.3 though which is well old now. Android/mobiles are my main interest, and feared if I get one will end up with a buggy unit and no software updates and it would prob irritate me. Let me know how it is tho

But as long as I can play music through bluetooth and I can change the themes then I'm happy...

Plus I'm sure I can find a way to upgrade it :D I like to tinker!

Analog tv transmissions have been progressively phased out to be replaced with digital freeview and are no longer available in the UK, apparently

It may be possible to add a seperate freeview box or module to recieve the freeview transmissions but it would require extra hardware and probably an additional IR remote controller for the freeview (it would not be fully integrated into the system)
