Hi. guys im new to all this so hope im posting in the correct place if not plz remove or advise me to

ok here goes basically ive got a ford focus 1,6 zetec 54 plate and recently it started juddering while driving softly then recently its got to the point of i look like a nodding dog while driving engine managment light has just came on today and ive been told it might be the coil pack is this correct and could it be anything els and how much could i be looking at paying for repairs oh and also power loss while its juddering put foot down and its like im riding a slug lol

    could be a misfire

    plugs/leads or coil pack are the usual suspects

    but ideally, get the codes read or get it confirmed you are suffering misfire problems

    It could be a number of things but the Coil Pack is a favourite. If they haven't been changed for a while you may as well do the leads and plugs at the same time.

    There are a few possibilities, but ideally you need error codes to identify any issues.

    So the car constantly judders, does the car have full power? does it feel restricted?
