Fiesta Mk6 Vs Mk7

Mk7 no contest, I've had both, and the mk7 is leaps and bounds ahead. The only plus point for the mk6 is money, being cheaper. But the inside of the newer one is just years ahead of the basic layout of its older brother. Plus body styling too. Engines are pretty much the same, except for a few modifications on the mk7, which put an end to the horrible turbo failures of older models.

Are you saying that for similar money you can have either a MK6.5 Zetec S or only a MK7 Zetec and not the Zetec S?? (hope that made sense  )

For the money you would be able to find a very nice, low mileage Mk 6.5, however the mk 7 is better to drive (Especially the diesels), looks more modern and will hold it's value better. Not to mention there are a lot of guides here on modding a Mk7. ;)
