Side Skirt Bonding

Featured Replies

Noticed one of my side skirts is loose from the main body only by a few mm by the rear wheel, checked the other side ands its tightly bonded to the main body. Just a little concerned as grit and small stones are falling in the area. Is it worth taking it back to Ford and seeing if they can re-bond it? Anyone else noticed this or is it OK to leave

I would take it back to them! It's a manufacturing fault or poor workmanship.

Tiger Seal is the best body kit adhesive on the market,

I've saw some places use double sided sponge sticky tape complete rubbish.

Tiger Seal is the only job.

If the skirt comes off completely Id walk in to ford wielding it and kick some apprentice mechanic !Removed!

Spoke to dealership I purchased from this morning, they can't fix it so it has to go to the 'local' Ford bodyshop for a 'few days' to be re-bonded. They are doing it under warranty
