no its a petrol

I have a 58,1.4 petrol and with the aircon on ie. auto climate I get the same symptoms been like that since new ford says nothing wrong to be expected. With the aircon off totally different drive.

hello,

i find this too. with aircon on the car acts completely different than with it off.

but with it off my car does this (only on the odd occasion) and mine is only a 1.25 petrol and it aint even got a turbo ha.

i have just put up with it tho, bit of pain come to think about it when i drop down to overtake hehe

it was from a standing start (traffic light gp)

I have also experienced the sluggish performance when ac is on but all ac ect was off at the time

May be the fuel you use try some good fuel like Esso ? but if you have an HT lead on it's way out this will show up under hard acceleration (Look for a black spark plug)Good service may help?

iv only had the car about 5 months and ford said they had serviced it before I got it

could possibly be cheap petrol. If it was a HT lead wouldn't it be misfiring?

id get the plugs and leads changed and see if it improves, if not id look into replacing the coils
