Hi, Im currently looking at a 2006 06 plate focus 1.8 TDCI Ghia estate Euro 4 and was wondering if this model has a DPF fitted? also are there any common faults apart from DMF? Cheers Craig

not sure but I think the 18 euro 4 did not have the dpf

it the 16 that have it if that help

cheers for that, ive tried doing some research on internet but not found alot about the 1.8, its says the 1.6 and 2.0 both have them but you can get a 2.0 without. Il just see if anyone else comments and see what they say, thanks for the help

The 1.8 definitely does not have DPF.

cheers for the help guys, think il call the guy and have a look at it tomorrow, didnt want one with a dpf as there a royal pain in the a**e apparently.

That they are, but yes, as already confirmed, the 1.8 was 99.99999% likely to have no DPF, there is the rare occasion where some special person may have wanted one fitted, but I only heard of this once in passing, so I would be surprised if this happened again!
