hi folks just found a problem my stereo illumination was flickering at idle and have found the culprit the dimmer dial for the dash,if I set it for high the stereo illumination flickers but turn it down a touch it stops,i don't think its worked right since I had it because always thought clocks were not very bright so question is could I clean the switch with contact cleaner,many thanks.

May be worth picking up a second hand switch off ebay and swapping it? Probably only cheap so could be worth a try??

cheapest I could find £30.00 think I will try to clean first.

my clocks are green are they very bright when turned up do you know?

thats max brightness which is more than enough to be honest

I like my dash lights as dim as possible at night (definitely on mototways as the glare can really distract when it's dark)
