Lost Fob Key

Featured Replies

I'm new to this club, I am after some advise. I had two keys with a 2002 focus I bought, however recently I have lost the fob key. I am now using the spare. I have bought a fob key off eBay. The key fob arrived with its spare too. Now it has arrived I need to know what the next step is? Can anyone help?

U need go ford program it to the car

I would not recommend going to Ford as they won't programme self-sourced keys and also always insist on a diagnostic which bumps the price up.

Get onto a couple of local Car Locksmiths for quotes but expect about £80 for cutting the keys to the locks and programming to the immobiliser and central locking.

You'd be looking at a couple of hundred from Ford.
