Morning all!

I've recently been getting more and more tired of having to locate my key to unlock my Fiesta, even though I don't actually need to touch it to start the car.. This is because I have Ford's keyless Powerstart button, but not the keyless entry...

I was just wondering, does anybody know of a kit/modification that can be purchased from Ford or elsewhere that adds this functionality?

This has probably made me sound really lazy, but just something I'd quite like haha... and I am quite lazy.

In Holland if you want the powerstart button, you also get keyless entry. You can't have one or the other.

But i don't know if there is a modification of something..i hope so since you are getting lazy ;)

You're not the only that finds that annoying! Surely they could of made it keyless entry as well as power start! I wrongly assumed it was keyless entry when I saw the power start button. Previously had keyless entry fitted to my titanium and loved not having to find keys in my pockets was inspired by this advert to get it http://youtu.be/cvNUU122t-8.

Ford offer the convenience pack now includes keyless entry, power start button and power fold mirrors £300. Don't know if you can back order it. Ill be going to my dealer tomorrow so I'll ask for you.

I am really torn whether to specify extra myself as I didn't when I ordered my ST2 but they are taking so long building the damn thing I might as well with all the money I've saved since, 10 weeks and still counting, aaaarrggghh!

Went to dealer and my build date is now finally confirmed for 11th December, at last!!!!

Decided to order the convenience pack which for the ST2 is just keyless entry and power fold mirrors £300, ouch.

The same pack with start button is available on all models except ST1 and Titx which has it as standard, £425.

So unfortunately too late to get the convenience pack on my car never mind have managed over 30 years with keys so not too much hardship.

Asked if it could be retro fitted but apparently not.
