What Can I Do To My Fiesta?

Featured Replies

I want to make it look a bit different from other fiestas in my area. Just slight changes that gives it an extra something so that it's recognisable as my car from the way it looks and not just the number plate.

What does everyone think of the angel eyes projector lights? I really like the way they light up but not sure if it might look a bit taccy in the daytime. I don't think they do but some people have said so.

I also wanna know if you can get maybe a black/chrome coating or something over the grey plasticky bits on the side and boot handle

Any other suggestions that you guys have would be appreciated??

Cheers

Welcome to the forum,

Mk6.5 is my favourite style of fiesta to date,

If I had one like yours Id:

Fit some custom fit mud flaps, they look good and protect, see focus essentials on Facebook to purchase.

Consider removing and plugging the rear wiper,

Fit some silvatec indicator bulbs

Fit some Cree reverse bulbs

T10 5 SMD reg plate bulbs

Id fit the halo headlights but look in to some sort of DRL's to fit near the fogs for day time driving,

Remove and spray the front grills gloss taxi black.

Id remove the boot handle and have it wrapped or hydro dipped in carbon fibre, its not really chrome its plastic inside.

Richbrook stubby aerial ( for 10% off richbrook ford stuff, see my green performance induction guide)

Some blue brake caliper paint

Some hammerite smooth finish silver paint on with brush, use it on the space sections of the brake discs, tidys them up nicely,

Some osram cool blue bulbs in the fogs and low beam, then some osram nightbreaker in the high beam.

Some canbus 5smd led in the parking bulbs front.

Log on to DMB graphics in the uk and get yourself some gel ford badge overlays,

Have a look for a 2" twin exit tail pipe to stick out from under the bumper

Get yourself some team heko wind deflectors

Ford mist type washer jets (see my guide)

Rear ford badge brake light (see the guides section of the forum)

Also get DMB to create a website decal in ford font, and in silver fit it to the bottom line of the rear side windows ;)

No point in looking at eibach lowering springs because the zetec model is already lowered,

Moving on to the inside of the car

Front and rear foot well lighting (see my guide)

Ford logo puddle lights (see my guide)

Cup holder illumination (see the forum guide section) great for illuminating clear bottles like water ;)

12v boot socket, (see my guide) the Mk6 has the loom already there, you just need a 12v socket and earth feed.

Dual boot light with led bulbs (see my guide)

Waterproof seat covers, sounds mad but they make the seats look like bucket seats aswell as protect them.

If your painting the brake calipers, remove the air vent rings and colour code them the same as calipers.

Illuminated ignition ring (see my guide)

Upgrade interior bulbs to led

Perhaps a single 52mm gauge pod with choice of gauge to look like you've got boost, I can guide you on install.

To view my list of guides,

Click on my aviator picture, it will bring you to my profile where my guides are listed,

Click on the links to view each guide.

All my guides were performed on a Mk2.5 focus

However the principals are the same for installing in any car as the 12v power supply is the same,

The only differences are panel removal and loom reference colour.

For loom colour either purchase a Haynes manual or as on the forum fora Haynes manual owner to check for you.

Thanks a lot mate,

I couldn't have hoped for a better reply.

I'm definitely gonna look into everything you suggested and check out your guides. I shall have it looking special in no time and post whatever upgrades I make.

Thanks again.

No problem mate thanks,

The mods are subtle and when parked next to another model it will then become clear it looks better

Most of the mods are under 30 pounds so they can be chipped away at, and are very enjoyable.

If you have the time some educational and very funny videos on car modifications can be found on YouTube from mightycarmods and MCMTV2 I highly recommend watching every video the lads are a great laugh, see this video about the electric fans on eBay lol they put it on a dyno then when it doesn't work they blame the guys dyno is broken lmao

Check...it...out y'all
