Fiesta Mk 6 Window Wipers Fault

Featured Replies

Just to see if any of you guys could help me out here. On my fiesta when I put the window wipers on the intermittent setting they get stuck half way up the window but fine on the faster setting :/ is this signs of the wiper motor on way out ?

More likely a short on the wiring.

The wiring between the roof and hatch take a lot of abuse over time and the insulation gets brittle causing the wires to snap.

It's the front wipers that are faulty are there wires in the roof for them ? :/

Ah no, i assumed you meant the rear one.

Most likely if both wipers are doing it then you have a duff intermittent wiper relay.

It's just the front and only on the first setting it sticks it's fine on the other 2 or 3 faster ones just a pain if it only lightly raning got them on full blast lol

Highly likely it is a wiper relay then, or at a stretch maybe a corroded earthing point.
