I've got a 2006 zetec s tdci and occasionally I will loose all power and the car starts to drive very sluggish . The engine management light did come on but has recently gone back of. Any ideas on what is happen to my car please.

    Need to get it on a code reader,,, if the light has been on, the fault will be stored, and may give some indication as to what your problem may be. When is the last time it had a fuel filter change ?

    Well I've only own the car since may so I haven't a clue if it's ever been changed. Due to do a service with my old man soon
