Earthing Cables

Featured Replies

I know a few things about electrics but I haven't fitted anything new but would like to fit a reverse camera to my eonon head unit but when it comes to earthing cables what cables are the earthing one.

I sound like a right idiot I know

Any help would be great

Hi Paul,

Welcome to the family, and no its not a silly question at all.

You just need to tap into the earth cable on the loom, so for example, if your installing something behind the stereo, then you tap into the ignition live, and the earth cable in the same loom, that closes the circuit :)

Thanks buddy

How do you know what cables are what?

Stoney provides this diagram often and it seems to be universal to most the Focus range.
