Dash Lights

Featured Replies

Hi I have a 05 plate ST 2.2 diesel, about a week ago abs and traction control lights started to come on and sometimes battey light have replaced altenator but still got same problem, any help thanks.

Hi Donald,

Normally the ABS lights come about when the sensor, or loom has issues.

Does the light flick on then off? or does it flick on and then stay on until you restart the car (then it goes out again?) or is it permanently lit?

Was the alternator new or a refurb? The battery light normally points to the alternator and it's not unknown to have a faulty replacement or for a mechanic to not connect it properly. Not saying it will be this but always worth a check! :)

It could also (most likely) be the battery flashing up the battery light? The cold can kill them if they are older.
