IM BACK!

So, yesterday was a pretty bad day for me - No sleep the night before and I was hungry. I was contemplating leaving the forums but guess what arrived today? My Y-Cable!!! It was a sign, so Ill stick with you all for a bit longer (to keith's disappointment!).

I still am baffled by how the thread has been misconstrued though... All I was trying to put across was that I felt that most people received their build dates after a couple of weeks, and I hadn't so was inquiring into what to do. I wasn't trying to point the finger at anyone, as its not anyone's fault! I now am going to have to ring the dealer tomorrow to appologise if dealDrivers have contacted him saying that I was slaging him off and thought he was giving me bad service - that's not what I meant by the post.

I meant that with other cars I have brought I have been (to quote another) kept in the loop more. I completely understand that if there is no information then there is no point ringing - but I would have expected a build date 3 weeks into an order. Again, let me reiterate that I'm not blaming Jo, any of dealDrivers, my dealer or anyone from ford - its a popular car and hence why the waits are longer. As someone else said - everyone gets impatient and/or excited when they are ordering something - and a £14k car is a pretty big thing - especially for a young chap like me! Can you blame me for being anxious and wanting it now? (oh and don't call me spoilt keith because frankly you know NOTHING about me - I understand this is the internet and a public forum and your opionions are your own, but keep your opinions about me to yourself).

Keith - It does seem like you have a bit of a gripe against myself. Maybe its because i'm young, getting a new car at my age, or not paying for it myself. More liekly it seems you have taken a dislike to me because of "my impatients" and my "spoilt attitude" whcih you seem to think I have. For the record, not that I need to justify myself to you, you don't know me, and despite how I may be pertrayed on here I don't think you have the background to judge me. I have came to no conclusions about you other than the fact that I think you have mis-read into most of the things I say. Iv''e never said you have a chip on your shoulder, one of those "I hate young people" kind of guys or anything of that nature, because all I have to go on is your opinions on a car and simply don't know you well enough to make that assumption!

I understand where everyone is coming from, but I do feel that just by saying that I feel that my service has been quiet and im worried becuase i havn't heard from the dealer there is no harm being caused, simply that I would prefer more info - but there isn't any to give. remember, this IS my first car - I was looking for advice and what I got was something entirely different. All be it alot of you did give good advice - thank you to you.

Keith, also, you do seem to contradict yourself considerably.

Personally, I do feel some of you have dampened my whole new car expereince. The forums are a place where I used to enjoy coming to talk about the car, look at others and other things like that, but now I feel I cant say anything or come on here without being attacked and frankly bullied by a few people.

Again, (seem to be saying this alot on these forums) sorry if I offended anyone but it was clear what was meant and the reactions from certain people who I wish not to name have created a whirl-pool which is not only needless but rediculous and bassed purely on opinion - which is something which will always be different between people!.

I cannot be botherd to discuss the matter any more, its stupid and rediculous that ikts even got this far. I wont be replying to any more posts on the topic.

P.s. I know I said I was leaving, and Ive explained why. Its the nice peolpe on here that make me want to stay as I do feel like I have a connection with quite alot of you now.

welcome back :D

I browse the forum more than I actually contribute in all fairness but from what I have seen on this Forum I dont think Keith has anything against you personally its just how he is and how he comes across, dont take it personally. Although its hard not to, if i were in your position I would have.

Anywho oooo exciting Y cable...Gratz! :D So exciting!!

regarding the eatin - I have a strict no McDonalds drive thgouh policy in my new car. Oh and no "eating subways" either, as you get the smell of rotting meat in the car for weeks afterwards!!!

- no drinks

- no eating

- no smoking

- no farting

- no sneezing

- no exhailing if your breath smells

- no smiling!

lol. the last few are a joke if you didn't already figure that! :)

(JAR = good mood again).

No No definately no sneezing! Its hard enought to get the bugs off the outside without havin to scrape boogeys off the inside lol

Wow, i dont log on for 2 days and look what happens

JAR, you must understand some people will never like you, me personaly i don't have a problem with you. However not everbody will think the same. Just ignore the idiots who think bad of you :)

As for your Fiesta, theres between a 8 - 12 week wait now due to the demand of this popular car. Sales are up, but production is down.

One thing what got me was what dealdrivers said:

Titaniums and 3drs have the most demand right now

Since when was a Titanium the best selling Fiesta trim? You need to look at your facts closer and you will see its a Zetec whats the best seller

no no its not sexist woman are better at alot of things ;) muahahahahaha

(I joke I joke dont burn me alive just yet!)

Well, hello all--is it safe to come back?

There's one thing missing off all your posts regarding things that you're not doing to do in your new cars:

Like the mile high club for cars???????? ;) ;) ;)

lol, sure you can join. I want a hoodie now (the new Ford Owners Club ones are out!!!) for my G/F to wear.

Nothing else. Just that. Then she can ride with me.

;) ;)

If that's a little crude... your too old!

:)

JMA - When you going to whip some pictures of your panther out? lol.

Oo Jar, you are a one! :)

I'll get my panther out when I get it! 3 weeks and counting.

Been monitoring this thread quite a bit and am glad its all settled down.

I can see both sides of this arguement and i am sure that there are no "vendetta's" being held against anyone.

I am glad that Jo from DealDrivers came on and said the piece. As its been said its a public forum and Jo's post has given us all an insight as to what goes on day in day out.

Here Here.

As this was directed to me I'll respond even though you said you won't reply.

OK, I have never "attacked" you or "bullied" you. All I have ever done is express MY opinion on what you have said in these forums and as far as I'm aware every thread is available to read, so you can look back if you feel like it, which I have done and to be honest, there isn't just me who has expressed an opinion on how you have portrayed yourself, many have and some have been much harsher in what they said than me. In fact, I don't think I've called you spoilt, I thing I've said you come across as being spoilt, there is a difference and that's down to what you type, something I have no control over. But, if you want me to be the bad guy, OK, so be it.

I cannot dislike you because I do not know you. I can disagree with some things you have said and as far as I'm aware, that is all I have done.

You are responsible of how your portrayed on here, not me. That is the problem with internet forums, rarely do people know each other personally, so all anyone can do is build a picture of a poster through what they say. The only criticism I made in this thread was that you're impatient, nothing more. You've even alluded to that yourself, so why am I the baddy for agreeing with you. In fact, you have stated previously you are impatient.

I then said you crave attention (in this thread), or come across like that, which again, from what you have done since you joined the forum with starting numerous threads daily, I have a point. Wasn't there many more who mentioned this or did I imagine this? Your "Goodbye" speech only magnified that opinion in my eyes.

In fact, until this thread, I'd ignored your posts since the time I called you ungracious, again, valid points from the lack of thanks to the people who had gone out of their way to help you on here since you joined.

You then go on to say "I understand where everyone is coming from". So again, why is it a surprise? Why am I such a baddy if you understand why I said what I said?

C'est la vie

lol, sure you can join. I want a hoodie now (the new Ford Owners Club ones are out!!!) for my G/F to wear.

 lmao dont start them all off everyone will be coming out with there wierdest fantasies!! A ford owners club hoodie is well sexy?! lawl

Everyone is entitled to their own views opinions and comments on a public forum, if we all agreed on everything the world would be a boring place and we would all be driving in the same spec cars and the forum would be as dull as dishwater, I love this forum for everyone being happy and friendly as we all have one thing in common - our love for Fiesta's.

No one eats in our car, no one smokes in our car and there will definately be none of this mile high business in our car - that done even happen in the house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm really going to miss smoking in my car when the new Fiesta arrives! I have already banned smoking in the flat, and will be doing the same for the new car. Hopefully having to go outside / parking up for a smoke will !Removed! me off so much that i'll quit! Least thats the plan! Knowing my luck i'll get stuck in roadworks on the way back from the dealer....

there will definately be none of this mile high business in our car - that done even happen in the house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All I can say is poor Max!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
