Fiestamk61
Sup Guys Cars engine light was on when I was buying the car and the dealer said it was the oxygen sensor (lambda) and he would replace which he definitely did.. Now the engine light is constantly on and used test menu which doesn't flag anything up. The car drives fine like it always had but can't think of what it could be that's wrong, could it be the O2 sensor again? Any suggestions before I take it to a garage? Btw O2 sensor was replaced in August Thanks
btmaldon
You need a code reader putting on it to be sure what it is. I would take it back and get the dealer to sort it if its still got some warranty. If not see if you have a mate with a code reader. It is very possible it is the lambda sensor as the garage may just have cleaned up the old one or put a cheapo one on it.
