maxx31 Posted January 7, 2014 Share Posted January 7, 2014 Hi all Just a quick question on the boot when I shut the boot it just bounces off the lock It takes 3 attempts to shut/ lock the boot . I adjusted the striker plate and check from inside the book it was aligned I'm now down to 2 times to lock the book not really a slam it shut type of guy In some way at least I won't shut the keys in the boot :-) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The boot is so light on the Fusion it probably just doesn't have enough weight to hit the lock and close if you don't give it a good enough slam! OK its not as heavy a boot lid as my dad's saab.....shushh but his is different and heavier.but I am still having the unlocking problem though.
