Fiesta Mk6 (2003 -2004) Factory Fitted Alarm

Featured Replies

My fiesta zetec 2003 53 has a factory fitted alarm my friends is the same always makes a noise when locking and unlocking and it alarm goes off my how ever is silent when alarm goes of it just flashes the lights and no noise goes off when locking or unlocking the car from the thob -remote whys this ?

It probably means that the horn is broken or the wire has broke somewhere, does the horn sound normally, although I'm not sure if the alarm has its own horn, I haven't seen mine go off before, but seeing as it's a perimeter alarm the chances are by the time you get there it will be compromised anyway.

The horn sounds fine I can't seem to find the alarm box anywhere do you know where it is ?

I have got the feeling that it's sealed into the dials like the immobiliser chips on the mk6, not like older fiestas and focuses which had them in the foot well, perhaps check the fuses under the glove box.
